The absurdity of modern life

Try to explain to a six year old that climate change is real. They usually get it. Try to explain it to a politician and all hell breaks out. Deny it and we will all be fishing in bath water. What a shame in our America, trying to be great (again??), if we can't protect our air and water from ourselves. A thousand years from now, someone will look at this and say "how could they let this happen".

Adrift in blissful ignorance most of us choose what we want and what we do? My choice is to fish alone, after all the rivers are small. Too many people running here and there, big fish most fish exotic location fishing travel here travel there. Searching, constantly searching! For what,  envy?

Sat down at a wooden fence poising as a stream improvement and caught that moment we all seek. A family of swans arrived and giving them their space they blissfully passed by.
